Windows Azure Linux Agent (waagent) - (on Linux VM)

Agent running in the Linux VM.

It manages:

• Linux & FreeBSD provisioning,
• and VM interaction with the Azure Fabric Controller.

The agent can be configured to perform:

• Resource disk management
• Formatting and mounting the resource disk
• Configuring swap space
