SSAS - Database Role
About
A database role permits to assign permissions:
to users,
or to
administrators who do not have server-wide administrative rights.
Role permissions are database-specific.

Database role permissions can be granted for:
database and cube dimensions,
individual dimension members,
cubes,
individual cells within a cube,
mining structures,
mining models,
data sources,
and stored procedures.
Management
In SQL Server Management Studio, expand the database, and then right-click the Roles folder to add a new role.
In SQL Server Data Tools, roles are displayed in Solution Explorer and you can add them from the Project menu.
