How to configure SQL Developer to connect to a Timesten Database.
To access a TimesTen database from SQL Developer,
must be installed.
Download the Oracle Timesten software. (The client is included with the server installation).
You can connect to a TimesTen database after you have defined a client data source name (DSN) for the database.
The default Network Port is 53397

SQL Developer 3.0 requires that you have installed Java Development Kit (JDK) 6. To determine the third party JDBC drivers SQL Developer is using, select Tools > Preferences. In the Preferences dialog, click the + to the left of the Database node. Select Third Party JDBC Drivers. View the path name of all third party JDBC drivers including the TimesTen JDBC drivers.

NOTE: TNS_ADMIN is already set in environment - D:\svn\Config\Oracle Database
TimesTen connections work best in SQL Developer if the AutoCommit flag is checked. ????
Go to Tools, and select Preferences.
Start Sql Developer and add a new connection:
If the TimesTen database will be used to cache data from an Oracle database, specify the password of the Oracle user in the Oracle Password (for Cache) field. The Oracle user has the same name as the TimesTen user that was specified in the Username field.
If you select User specified for the DSN:
The installation must configure the Jdbc Driver of Timesten. You can see him in the Sql Developer preferences.

SQL Developer use a 32 bit JDK in place of a 64 bit. You can check it in the properties. Help > About > Properties > java.home
