Steps

Topology

• Physical Architecture (The location System)
  • Duplicate the default physical data server (FILE_GENERIC)
  • Enter the host name (and eventually the connection parameters)
  • Create a physical Schema. Fill the following fields with one directory:
    • Directory (Schema)
    • Directory (Work Schema)
• Topology Physical Schema (The directory)
• Logical Schema (The context attached to the Physical schema)

Designer

• Model (The description of the file)
  • Select the file technology (Scroll !)
• Right click on the model > New Data Store
  • Configure the format in the Files tab
  • Reverse Engineer the attributes in the attributes column
• Right click the data store > View Data

When reversing, verify that two headers doesn't have the same name.
