Web Intelligence can be used offline :

as a Web Intelligence rich client,
as a standalone Microsoft Windows application equivalent to the Java Report Panel.

Web Intelligence rich client allows you to continue to work with Web Intelligence documents (WID) :

when you are unable to connect to a CMS,
when you want to perform calculations locally rather than on the server,
and when you want to work with Web Intelligence documents without installing a CMS or application server.

Web Intelligence rich client can also be used when connected to a CMS.
