Resolution
This problem can have two sources :
- first the Performance Manager servers are not up
- second, you may have a credential problem with the user which launch Performance Manager
Performance Manager servers are not up
You may aware that if you use SAP BOBJ - Central Management Console (CMC) to manage you server the Servers List node can not show all Dashboard and Analytics servers. Then verify that all Dashboard and Analytics servers are up
To know how to manage the server : SAP BO - Servers Management (Services).
Bad credential
- Log into SAP BO - InfoView, and then click the “Preferences” button on the InfoView toolbar.
- In the “Dashboard and Analytics” tab, change the credential of the initialization logon user in the “Change initialization logon user”
- Log into the Log into the SAP BOBJ - Central Management Console (CMC) (CMC), and then click Users.
- Check that the user have the Administrator right
- In the SAP BO - Central Configuration Manager (CCM), restart all of the Dashboard and Analytics servers.
If you are using Dashboard and Analytics from a client machine, restart the client machine.
By modifying the credential, you modify in background the file InitConfig.properties. It is located in the following location:
- [Install Directory]\Program Files\Business Objects\Performance Management 12.0
The line modified are :
- initialization.User=
- initialization.Password=
