OBIEE 10G/11G - The (dashboard|column) prompt

About

The dashboard prompt is the most used prompt to filter rapport in a dashboard but it can also set:

• a presentation variable Since 11g, you can set a presentation variable without the need of a column with the variable prompt
• a request variable

You can make a between filter

• with the between operator (Both limits are not required)
• with two presentation columns with the same logical column but with two different names.
