About

Excel use the locale of Windows but you can change some parameters such as:

  • the language
  • the separators.

Separators

Menu > File > Excel Options

Excel System Separator

Once you have made this change, Excel recognize that a text is a number and offers you to convert them. Select all cell that you want to convert and choose the “Convert to Number” option.
