How to pass the pom version to the code

To replace the artifact version in a class during the build process, you can use the below plugin:

			<phase>process-sources</phase>

		<outputFile>${project.build.sourceDirectory}/path/to/Version.java</outputFile>

		<token>@version@</token>
		<value>${project.version}</value>

where Version.java.template:
