Every TimesTen data store has a DBI (Database Information) file associated with it. The DBI file is an internal catalog, storing information about every data store which exists for this installation (instance) of TimesTen.
These files reside in the TimesTen daemon home directory.
When the TimesTen main daemon is started, it reads it's DBI file and for each data store it finds defined, it checks for the existence of the checkpoint files.
