On unix, the Client DSNs are defined by editing the user ODBC.INI file for user DSN or the system ODBC.INI file for system DSNs.


  • OBIEE_INSTANCE_HOME/instance1/bifoundation/OracleBIApplication/coreapplication/setup/odbc.ini
  • TIMESTEN_BASE\info/sys.odbc.ini
  • or /etc/odbc.ini


The sys.odbc.ini file is located in the directory TIMESTEN_BASE\info
