A Obiee server thread is a thread that execute the BI server to serve clients (such as Answers, nqsserver, …) You can have more sessions than threads but in this case, the session must wait for a free thread to execute any actions.

Parameter

SERVER_THREAD_RANGE

SERVER_THREAD_RANGE is set in nqsconfig.ini. It controls the number of server threads.
