About
The UpgradeID is a 32-bit repository object identifier number that is unique across the entire repository for a repository object.
It is used for:
- compare and merge algorithms.
- tracing relationships between objects
When a blank value is found during the load of the RPD, the server create the object and generates it automatically.
The repository objects have also a second identifier:the id that is used to improve performance.
